Concept End world hunger, or at least put a dent in it, by helping teach people everywhere; both families and franchises, that they can eat better and reduce food waste. Laughable or laudable? |

Volunteers A hand up rather than a hand out means helping people be self-sufficient. OWEE is up close and personal dignity on both sides of the counter and whether our volunteers leave or stay, they are fully skilled, appreciated and matured. |

Living Wage States across the country wrestle with this. Altruism aside, we think a better paid employee is a more satisfied employee and that shows up in the food. Do you agree or disagree? |

Cousins and Satellites We want to take this idea to cities around the country and the world. And, we want others to do it too. We're not hogging the idea because whoever does it makes us all better. Will it, can it change anything? |

Community People come for the food, sure. But they also come to be somewhere that is a true crossroads for the community. They seem to want to bump into people with whom they have nothing in common so they can. Is there hope for community? |
